Application Tips: Our natural sunscreen formulas are thicker than your typical, chemically formulated sunscreen. A little bit goes a long way! Apply at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure for best results. Start with a pea to dime size amount. Dab exposed areas with sunscreen. Gently wipe sunscreen onto the skin in a paint brush motion along the grains of your hair. Sunscreen will blend evenly and nicely with little white residue. Caribbean Sol Sunscreen will sit on top of the skin rather than absorb into the pores. Re-apply every 60-90 minutes or after towel drying. If pairing with one our natural enhancers, apply oil after sunscreen has been on the skin for 15-20 minutes.
If you are using our SPF 8 with the goal of allowing a little color, we recommend working your way down after starting your journey with our natural sunscreen, SPF 30, then SPF 15, and so on. Conditioning the skin prior to tanning is the safest and most effective way to achieve your color goals. Once your skin is conditioned, pair the SPF 8 with one of our natural enhancers to gain a deeper, darker tan.
